Acanthus, salt spoon, length 8.3 cm. 3 2/8 inches. Condition, normal signs of use.
Designed by the painter, Johan Rohde, and produced since 1917. Johan Rohde , who lived for a time in Italy, was inspired by the antique style. This shows in the cutlery's pillar shaped handle which ends in a Corinthian capital with acanthus leaves. Johan Rohde began his close and lifelong association with Georg Jensen in 1906.
